Days with my kiddies (30 Dec08 - 4 Jan09)

Phew finally finished updating all the outstanding entries. Its been a long long time I ever updated my blog. Wanted to do so but this pregnancy is really tiring me out plus my active Kaden boy around. Really very taxing. Its only recently I started to get better, less morning sickness (though its usually occur in the evening), improved appettite...also with my domestic helper around, it really helps to ease alot of my housework so that I got some free time to spend with my kids after work.

The past one week or so has been truly enjoyable - bathing the children, cooking for them, feeding them, bringing them out jalan....Time passes very fast whenever I am spending time with them. I am starting to miss those times already. The children grew alot during this period especially Kaden. He starts to babble very often and trying to stand as and when he finds opportunity to lean on something. He loves squeezing his faces and smiles at us. He claps hands whenever he is happy and waves bye bye when he knows he is going jalan!

For Trenyce, she is braver now. She doesnt have to use her face towel to cover her eyes when we shampoo her hair and she no longer cries when the shampoo bubble gets into her eyes. She can do simple addition and subtraction. She can sing songs (learned from her ah ma)to her bro. She plays crawling competition with the bro. This is my favourite. I loved watching the kids crawling around the house and laughing away. The house suddenly like gets "warmed up". Well, I would say this is the best incentive for having kids!

I wonder how it will be like when baby #3 joins the family..surely the laughter gets louder and louder....looking forward to those days!

调皮的爷爷 aka Playful Gonggong (5th Jan 09)

拉美斯 Labis (30 Dec 08 – 2nd Jan 09)

After much thinking, we didnt go anywahere for our year end holiday. Ended up in Labis since we havent been there for quite some time, in fact, this was the 2nd time we brought the children back for the year 2008. Wanted to go somewhere whereby the children can take a plane ride but figured it would be really difficult in oy current status plus Kaden is such an active boy! Dragging the lugagges would also be a problem. Well well.....maybe simplicity is bliss.

Anyway, for the 3 days we spent...we really just lazed around at home and only went up to Segamat for dinner on the very last night we were there. Hubby managed to paint our room which I understand from mil that the house had not been painted for more than 30 yrs since they shifted in. Wow! Dont think in spore we would encounter that. I think our house the most tahan 10yrs, then we have to give it a fresh paint already, cannot tahan the ugly paint falling off the wall...guess its our typical sporean habit =p

Kaden and Trenyce had their haircuts in Labis too. Its only RM$5 for each of them, dirt cheap right! It was Kaden's 2nd haircut since borned. We had his hair shaved botak when he was three month old and till then never did we brought him to any barber again. He looked really mature in this new haircut. Well, interestingly his new haircut looks exactly like his daddy's haircut haha!!!

Showing funny faces again, one of his favourite acts nowadays...very cheeky boy

Xmas at Home

Its Xmas Day, the day the children (only Trenyce lah) anxiously waiting for...and its time for the children to unwwrap their Xmas presents!

The most interesting present Trenyce received was from her ah yee. Err...

Kaden checking out his present from mummy and daddy, a car storybook with horn and beep sounds.

After that, we brought the kids to PS jalan jalan...also to buy hubby's his belated birthday present. I promised to get him his dumbbells. Thereafter, we went to Carrefour, bought some food stuff and headed home to prepare our very 1st Xmas dinner at home! This is our very 1st Xmas Dinner at home as most of the times we were either at Labis or at my sister's place celebrating the day.

Hmm...this is the simple meal I prepared - spagetti, potato mushroom soup to eat with the croissant and BBQ honey chicken. =p

My big jiejie enjoying the food =)

Birthday Celebrations (24th Dec08)

We celebrated hubby's and mil's birthday on Xmas Eve. Hubby was borned on Xmas eve and mil on boxing day so we combined the celebrations as pils are heading back to Labis on Xmas day for their year-end break (time for them to clear their annual leave! ha). We went to this restaurant called Bosses at Vivocity for lunch.

See how Trenyce and Kaden enjoyed the food...

This is one of their bizarre dish, the ice kai lan, to dip with the wasabi + soya sauce. Interesting dish. But my family cant get used to eating the cold vege keke...

After that we went for a walk around the shopping mall, stopped at this corner where lots of kids were having fun there. Trenyce, of course, couldnt resist the temptation! WHen I looked at these photos, I suddenly realised oh my my, my Trenyce is such a big girl now!

And Kaden, busy exploring the place with his papa...hehe

Back at home, mil cooked some birthday noodles for hubby. Its a must dish on our birthdays as it signifies good fortune and luck for the birthday boy/girl. Then we had a simple birthday cake session.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY & AH MA! =)

Christmas at Orchard (22nd Dec 08)

Brought the family to Orchard Rd to view the Xmas decor as this is where one can truly experience the Xmas atmosphere.

Our first family Xmas photo taken outside Heeren

One big happy family! Taken at Paragon

Mdm and her two precious kids.

Trenyce enjoyed taking pics with the Xmas decor, going from one to another asking me to take the pics for her...hehe this vain girl! ;p

The kids with their doting grandparents

And finally, Trenyce with the Roman soldiers before we marched home to zzzz.....

Spending time with Kaden (5th – 7th Dec 08)

Trenyce followed the grandparents back to Labis over the weekend and this was the first time we spent time with Kaden alone. I guess this gonna be the first and last time we can do this before BB No.3 pop. Sometimes I feel really guilty for not being able to spend more time with Kaden. When BB No.3 comes, I will definitely have to shift my focus on caring for the BB and Kaden, I hope, will not be neglected.

On Saturday, we brought Kaden to Upper Pierce reservoir to breathe some morning fresh air. Noticed that we liked to bring the kids to the nature? One day, I will like to bring them to Kota Kinabalu trekking hehe ;p

Played with Kaden, see how happy he was smiling and laughing away. Love you always my little boy *muacks* =)

East Coast Park (29th Nov08)

Brought the kids to East Coast Park one weekend. Kaden enjoyed horse riding on papa's shoulder for the first time. It was so comfortable (I guess so) that he eventually fell asleep on papa's shoulder hehe ;p while Trenyce enjoyed cycling around in the park and let Ester (our domestic helper who finally arrived on 24th Nov08) chased after her. I simply loved watching the kids enjoying themselves =)

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary (23 Nov08)

This year we brought the kids out for lunch at Sakae Sushi, J8 outlet for celebration. There wasnt any surprises cos we are really busy this year with our bubbly Kaden around. He just cant sit still and will touch anything and everything that is within his sight. Hence, its really difficult to enjoy a meal in peace not unless he's napping haha...After the makan, we walked around J8 for a while before heading home for our afternoon naps.

Snapped some pics for the kids while shopping at RSH...

Jayna’s full month (1st Nov 08)

We attended Trenyce's school concert in the morning and rushed off to attend Jayna's full month celebration. Its a lunchie celebration. Havent met Patricia for a long time since she left the company.... Glad to see this bubbly girl again, oops shld say bubbly mummy now hehe...

This is princess Jayna.

Jessie was there with her family so I managed to take a pic of Kaeden who is 2.5mo younger than Kaden. Yes they are both KadenS with slight variations in their spelling ;p A pity I didnt bring Kaden along as he was napping away at home after the concert. It must be really interesting to see the two of them in the same pic. Well, maybe next time :)

Trenyce’s school concert 2008 (1st Nov 08)

It's Trenyce end of year school concert again. The theme this year is jungle I guess. The costumes and decorations of the hall seems to imply so.
