Visited Dr Goh last Saturday.
Baby#2 exact size is about 1.06cm, whereas size inclusive of waterbag is about 2.6cm long. The due date somehow, has been pushed forward to 29th Feb 2008. I suppose its more accurate now as its based on BB’s actual size exclude the size of waterbag. Mother weighted at 60.5kg, gain 1.5kg. Siao liao, just 3 weeks, I have gained some much weight!
Oh, did I mention that Dr Goh’s clinic is more advanced than my last visit (as in when I’m having Trenyce). It now has one very large screen, which the mother can see the BB’s scan very clearly from where she is lying. We even get to hear the BB’s heartbeat! Its so exciting! Well, of course, the charges are also slightly higher now! :p

My weekend...
I had not been feeling very well enough to do anything.... not to mention wokking in the kitchen except sleeping. Hubby forbid me to cook even when I feel like cooking something that I like to eat for myself. He told me to rest while I can (on weekends) as I wont have such luxury on working days. Indeed I slept alot on weekends :p I wake up at 7am, then take an afternoon nap at 1pm together with Trenyce then wake up at 3pm...goes to bed at 9+pm again :p Really a typical oinkie huh! I think this will probably continue till 1st trimester is over....
Caught the flu bug last weekend. Trenyce also kena running nose. Think both of us caught it from different sources, she from her school whereas mine from office. The weekend was gone cos both of us were so tired that we dont have much energy to go anywhere. The only one at home shouting bored ---- is my hubby. So in the end, I proposed to bring Trenyce to Bishan Park. She can cycle and have some sand activities at the playground (In spore, you can hardly find a sandy playground as most are rubberised). There, we met a little gal with her father. The father asked the little gal to go forward to Trenyce to play with "Jiejie". The little gal is slightly shorter than Trenyce and so we (the father and myself) thought Trenyce was the "Jiejie" until the father asked asked me how old was Trenyce then we realised the "Meimei" is actually the "Jiejie" as she has already turned 3y.o. last mth and Trenyce will only turn 3 y.o. in another 2 mths! hahaha...... Anyway, at 0.98m, Trenyce is tall for her age... even in her school, she's considered the tallest! Must be the DNA from the WONG family kekeke..

Its different
This pregnancy is an entirely different experience. I couldn’t eat and sleep properly. I have already started waking up in the middle of the night visiting toilet. My tummy is also very bloated most of the times and my indigestion is veryvery bad. Anything too spicy or too oily is a big NONO. I didn’t even feel like eating rice either, have cravings for noodles instead! I also feel very tired easily and need afternoon naps very badly. It is extremely bad on days when I have to work for I have to forfeit my precious afternoon nap…*yawnnnn* The most unbearable part is usually the 2nd half of the day, after returning from lunch. I have also experienced heartburn this time round, which I didn’t have it this early previously.
I am going to visit Dr Goh again this Saturday. The last visit was on the 26th May. Dr Goh spotted the sag, at 6 weeks old, which was barely 1cm then. Compared to Trenyce, its a little small. Trenyce was about 3cm+ when spotted at 7weeks 4days old. Wonder how big my little sweetie will be this time.....looking forward so much to see my new addition. Dont ask me why, the feeling is exactly like when I am having my first child!

Trenyce goes to school!
Trenyce has her first taste of school life when school reopened on 25th June 07. Her official first day, however, was on the 26th June 07. It was a long story.....
We originally wanted to enrol her in one of the playgroups near our place. Hubby and myself purposely took leave on the day to bring her there. We value education and hope that she can begin well so that she will enjoy the rest of her schooling journey. It was a great disappointment! We sat in the classroom for half of the session and sneaked out, leaving Trenyce inside with the 2 teachers and the rest of the kids. We sat outside discussing about what we seen and decided there and then to withdraw from the school. You could have seen Trenyce's expression when she was sitting at the table. She looked 'bored' really! The teaching aids the teachers used for teaching and the facilities were far from our expectations. The most horrible thing was they made the teacher who was originally teaching chinese to teach english and her english was not that fluent! Then there were kids crying, about two....this chinese turned english teacher had no way to console the little boy and in the end had to resort to carrying the little boy and teached at the same time. Alamak! Can you imagine the boy crying with the teacher shouting at the same time? I wonder if the kids understand what the teacher is saying at all? Most of the times, I saw the kids glazing blankly at the teachers...
The biggest mistake I made was to make the payment even before we started the observation. Thats why in the end it was quite embarassing to tell the teacher that we wanted to withdraw from thew school. This must be the first time she had such encounter, enrolling and withdrawing on the same day....
You must be wondering why I didnt do my research before enrolling her right? The fact is all the window panels of the school were secured with paper from inside that nobody can see what's going on inside. Thats why we decided to take leave and sit in the class to observe the teachers. Anyway, it was really a horrifying experience.
So how did Trenyce manage to go to school? Well, she almost didnt go to any school.
After settled all the necessary with the 1st school, we immediately rushed over to another school from one of our neighbourhood churches. We had wanted to send Trenyce there initially but it was a little inconvenient as it was not within walking distance and we didnt want to inconvenient PILs. In fact, PILs after hearing our description of the 1st school had advised us to drop the schooling idea but I feel very bad if Trenyce didnt go to any school after all the hooha. I have prepared her mentally since deciding to send her to one, telling her almost every other day that she will be going to school soon to meet new friends and learn new things, and she has also been happily telling everyone that she will be going to school. I just cant bear to break her little heart. Hubby agreed with me and after visiting the church school for the second time, we were quite convinced that we wanted to send her there. So in the end, we enrolled her, got her her new school uniform and brought her there on the following day.....and little gal is now happily attending school everyday! The most surprising of all is that the school fees are not very much higher than the 1st school but the facilities and teaching aids are all doubly good!!!
