We brought Trenyce to Forum last Sunday to catch her latest idol - Dora, the explorer. Actually, I have not sat down and watched any of Dora's show before so its really something new for me :p The pics were all taken using my not-so-powerful nokia cam-phone. Yah, I was quite upset that we had forgotten to bring th camera along...well.....sigh....thanks to the technology, now we have cam-phone...at least not a trip wasted! Anyway, going to make a trip down again this wknd :p
At the meet-n-greet session....

Wassh wassh wassh....
Hubby is a hygenic fanatic. He doesnt like his house, his car, his study table etc.....to be untidy. He likes it neat and clean at all times....so that's why when I am a little busy with other things and left my things lying around on the study table or elsewhere, he will start nagging me like an old woman :p
Last weekend, he proposed car washing to Trenyce and she enjoyed it. Well, kids being kids, they simply love all water activities!
"DO RE MI" Guess which is Trenyce's pail? I think you must have the answer already!

Happy meal, happy kid
I always wonder what's so fascinating about Macdonalds that drives kids so nuts about it? They just adore it so much...and the rate they adore it simply amazed the parents. Hmmm...must be their superb marketing team and their powerful campaigns that everytime their advertisements appear on the TV, no kids cant recognise them.
We hardly brought our gal to fast food outlets as we dont like the idea of introducing these "sort of food" so soon to her. I mean, all parents in some way, do not feel that fast food are healthy food, right? Well, my little gal gave us a surprise recently by requesting us to bring her to Macdonalds, she said "bring me to Macdonalds tomorow ok?". With her innocent tone and her innocent look, how can mummy and daddy refuse her? So,Macdonalds, here we go. We brought her to Mac last Saturday for breakfast. We bought her a happy meal set and really, it made her a very happy gal.....sitting nicely at the table, eating diligently and enjoying her food. Totally different from eating her meals at home. When the food arrived, we purposely placed a packet of apple juice (comes together with the set meal) in front of her, put the straw thru and told her that the drink belonged to her. Surprise surprise, she didnt protest! What came next is even more surprising. She actually picked up the packet of apple juice without much hesitation!!!! My gal, who refused fruits and home-made fruit juices, actually drank the packet of fruit juice! Wow, see the power of mac? It's really has a way with kids wor! Salute salute...

Fun with Playdoh
We bought playdoh for Trenyce recently from the Giraffe Shop (aka ToysRUs). Trenyce called it the Giraffee Shop eversince she saw this big giraffee signboard displaying at the entrance of the store. And sometimes she will ask me "Mummy, later you bring me to Giraffe Shop ok?", nodding her head as she spoke.
Trenyce enjoyed the playdoh and insisted on making some "Bao" (aka chinese bun) for me. Those "baos" were her creations.
